  • Accurately measure  metric features such as diameter, length and width of fancy shapes, proportions in percentage (%) of total depth, table size, culet size, girdle thickness, crown height, pavilion depth, star length, lower half length. Unique capacity of measuring crown angle and pavilion angle.

  • The GIA Reticle is a very accurate non-contact measurement and calibration tool and is mostly used for obtaining mounted stone diameter, length, width and depth measurements.  It also serves if you do not have access to automatic optical non-contact devices.

  • Ideal for measuring inclusions using the Micro-Circle system to document a stone’s clarity

  • The GIA Reticle is critical for examining the observer’s visual acuity in preparation for discerning small round objects such as pinpoint inclusions in gemstones

  • Calibrate your microscope’s objective and magnification stereozoom range to precisely correspond with the power values indicated on the zoom knobs.
